FC Decic is a football club from Tuzi. Currently, the club is a member of the First League in Montenegro.
Founded in 1926, the club bears the name of Decic Mountain with a special history for Tuzi. The team played only non-league games in the pre-World War II period. The first official competition in which FC Decic participated was the fourth lowest level league – Central in the former Yugoslavia in which they participated until the early seventies. The first significant success during the era of the former Yugoslavia was the title of the Fourth League champion in the 1972–73 season, which meant the promotion of FC Decic to the third-tier competition of the League. For most of the seasons until the end of the century, FC Decic e moved to the third League of the Republic, with a slight drop in the Fourth League. The best successes at that time were achieved by Decic in the seasons 1988–89, third place in the League of the Republic of Montenegro and 1989–90, when they were runners-up. The best result at that time, Decic achieved in the 2003-04 season. when FC Decic from Tuzi won the title of champion in the Republican League and ensured the historic promotion to the Second League of the former state of Serbia and Montenegro.
FC Decic debuted in the Second League in the 2004-05 season, and finished high, in the third position.. The following year, Decic finished in seventh place.. After the independence of Montenegro, FC Decic became a member of the First League of Montenegro (season 2006-07). With the re-establishment of the municipality of Tuzi, the municipality receives the rights to establish the club and FC Decic becomes part of the municipality of Tuzi. As champions of the 2019-20 Montenegrin Second League, Decic made a swift return to the Montenegrin first league, where it would be the most successful start to a season in club history. They would start the 2020–21 Montenegrin First League with a promising 2–0 home win against former champions Buducnost. The achievements of the last seasons prove the increasing success of the Decic club: 2020-21 Third place in the First League of Montenegro (qualification in Europe Conference League) 2021-22 Final of the Montenegrin Cup, Third place in First League of Montenegro (Qualification in Europe Conference League) 2022-23 Final of the Cup of Montenegro 4th place in First League of Montenegro.
FC Decic is currently in second place in the First League of Montenegro (2 points less than the first place) and has also qualified for the quarterfinals of the Montenegrin Cup.
The most famous player to come out of FC Decic Club is Refik Shabanadzovic who later won the UEFA Champions League and World Club Champion with Red Star Belgrade.
